The celebration

An evening to meet, mingle and celebrate

Come as a couple, with friends or on your own and share the celebration with other guests. Enjoy the music, food and drinks, and spend time in different parts of the yacht as the evening unfolds.

Your ticket is for the shared experience, with no assigned chair. You can socialise with others or find a different guest area to relax. Access to outdoor areas follows the captain’s safety instructions.

The yachts

Luxury yachts, with a limited guest list

The shared celebration takes place on selected motor yachts and catamarans. Guest limits range from 15 to 35, depending on the assigned yacht. The limit applies to each yacht, not just to your booking group.

Marinova assigns your yacht according to availability when your booking is confirmed. Your ticket identifies the yacht and provides your boarding details.

On board

Enjoy the yacht’s indoor and outdoor guest areas

Spend time outside, join the conversation in the salon or move to another guest area as you enjoy the evening. Depending on your yacht’s layout, these areas include the bow, upper deck and aft deck. The salon is decorated for New Year.

There is no assigned seating. The captain may restrict access to an area when needed for safety.

The planned fireworks-viewing area is near Burj Al Arab. The captain determines the route and position according to conditions and operating permissions on the night. A particular position, unobstructed view or specific display is not guaranteed.

Getting there and getting home

New Year is one of the busiest nights on Dubai’s roads. A little planning keeps the evening relaxed at both ends.

  • Leave earlyAllow much more travel time than usual. Traffic, queues and reaching the boarding point all take longer on this night.
  • Arrive for 8:30 pmBe at the exact boarding point for 8:30 pm. Sailing is scheduled for 9:00 pm, so plan to arrive in good time.
  • Book both journeysWhere advance reservations are available, arrange your transport to Dubai Harbour and your journey home before the evening.
  • Plan the returnThe yacht is scheduled back at 1:00 am on 1 January 2027. Set your pickup for after that, allowing time to disembark and walk to a meeting point your driver can reach.
  • Share the boarding pinYour ticket gives the exact boarding location. Send that pin to every guest in your group and to your driver, rather than the name of the marina alone.
  • Reconfirm your pickupCheck the arrangement with your transport provider before the evening. A booked taxi or car is still affected by traffic and access restrictions.
