Why watch the fireworks from a yacht?
On New Year the coast fills with boats, and the evening on board has its own feeling. Your group has the yacht to itself. The music is yours, you eat and drink when you want to, and there is space to move around instead of standing in a crowd. As midnight comes the countdown runs on deck, yacht horns sound across the water and the sky opens up around you.
It is a different viewpoint and a different atmosphere from watching ashore. It does not mean every yacht sees every display, and it is not a reserved public viewing position. What your evening looks like depends on the yacht, the route and the area agreed for your booking.
Six hours, two windows
A private New Year charter runs for six hours. There are two windows to choose from, and both cross midnight, so the yacht comes back on 1 January 2027.

The hour before you sail
The hour before your booked start is dockside time at the berth, for your guests to board and for any setup to happen. It is not a seventh hour of sailing, and the yacht does not leave before the booked start time.
Leaving later than the booked start
You can ask to leave later than the booked start and stay alongside for a while. The captain will tell you when the yacht needs to move to reach the area planned for your evening. A later departure does not move your return time: the six hours still end when the booked window ends.

The package is confirmed against the written terms of the yacht you select before you pay. If there is any condition on serving alcohol on the yacht you choose, Marinova will tell you before the booking is confirmed.
Arranged separately
These are not part of the package. They are quoted and arranged on their own, so you only pay for what you want.
Dinner is optional. It is not part of the package and it is not served automatically on every charter.
Bringing your own food, catering, DJ or vendors
You are welcome to bring your own food, catering team, DJ or other vendors. Agree the practical details with Marinova first, because equipment, power, access to the berth and setup time all have to work on the yacht you book. Getting your own vendors to the marina and set up in time is your responsibility.

Each price is for the whole yacht for the six hour package on 31 December 2026, and VAT is included in it. It is a total for the yacht, not a price per person, so it is not multiplied by the number of guests you bring.
Guest capacity on its own does not explain a price. Two yachts that take the same number of guests can differ in deck layout, seating, cabins and bathrooms, the year they were built or last refitted, the facilities on board and the marina they leave from. The clearest example in this list is that Java 64 takes 20 guests and Lucky Star 62 takes 25, and the yacht with the lower guest capacity has the higher package price. A longer yacht is not automatically the more spacious or the more comfortable one, so read the whole offer rather than the length.
Every package on this page includes the same core items, set out once in the private New Year package above: captain, crew and service staff, fuel, sound system, towels, drinking water, ice and an ice box, soft drinks, plates and cups, balloons, and welcome provisions banded to the guest capacity of the yacht you book. Catering, a DJ, photography, other entertainment and upgraded decoration are quoted separately and are not in the package price.

Where you leave from
The departure marina is confirmed for the yacht you book, because it differs from yacht to yacht. Dubai Harbour, where many charters leave from, has direct access to open sea near Palm Jumeirah. It is not inside Palm Jumeirah, and travel time to any particular landmark depends on the yacht and the berth, so ask about your own route rather than assuming a fixed crossing time.
Paying for a private New Year charter
These terms apply to this evening only. The ordinary 30% deposit rule for a normal private day charter does not apply here.
- Deposit50% confirms the booking, once the yacht is available and your booking details are agreed in writing.
- BalanceThe remaining 50% is due by 11 December 2026. You are welcome to pay it earlier.
- Booking from 12 DecemberA booking made on 12 December 2026 or later is paid in full. A booking made on 11 December still has to meet the same 11 December balance deadline.
- If the balance is lateMarinova sends a final written notice before the booking is cancelled and the deposit is kept. The period you have to respond to that notice is set out in your written booking.
- If you cancelThe deposit is not refunded. If you have already paid in full, how that payment is treated is set out in your written booking, so read it before you pay.
- If weather stops the sailingThe charter payment is refunded. For anything bought separately, such as catering or entertainment, the refund terms are confirmed with you before you buy it.

Arriving, and getting home afterwards
We recommend arranging transport to the marina and back in advance. Parking can fill quickly on New Year's Eve, and many guests leave around the same time after the celebrations. Where advance bookings are available, arrange both journeys and agree your return pickup time and meeting point with the transport provider. Allow extra travel time to reach the marina, and reconfirm your pickup before the evening.
A booked car is not a car that can wait
Traffic still affects a taxi on this night, and a driver may not be able to wait at the berth. Agree a meeting point you can both reach and a realistic time.
Use the exact boarding pin
Marinova sends the exact boarding location for your yacht with your booking. Share it with your guests and with your driver, rather than the name of the marina alone.
Check road access closer to the night
Check current RTA advice for road access and parking nearer the date. Marinova does not publish road closures that have not been announced.
A yacht is not a way around the drive
Everyone still has to get to the marina and home again. Plan that part of the evening as carefully as the rest of it.
