What does “private” mean for a Marinova yacht charter?
It means the yacht is held exclusively for your group from boarding to final dock. There are no other guests, no shared cabins, no scheduled stops you didn’t ask for. The crew, the route, and the timing are all yours for the booked window.
Will anyone else share the yacht with my group?
No. Every booking we confirm is a private charter by default. The yacht is yours from the moment you board until you return to the pier. The only people on board besides your group are the crew.
How much does a private yacht charter in Dubai cost?
Our featured private yacht fleet starts from AED 850 per hour. Smaller entry options may be available from AED 600 per hour on request, depending on date, timing, and availability, and prices scale with yacht size and season. How discreet are the crew on a private charter?
Discretion is part of how the crew is trained. They handle the yacht professionally, stay in the background once you’re on board, and don’t publish photos or details from your booking. For high-profile charters we can arrange NDAs on request.
Can I customise the route, timing, and on-board hospitality?
Yes. The standard route covers the main coastal highlights past Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis, and Bluewaters, but everything is shaped around what you want from the day. Catering, decoration, music, water sports, swim stops, and sunset timing are all planned around your group.
Are children welcome on a private charter?
Yes. Children are welcome on every yacht in the fleet and child-size life jackets are kept on board as standard. If you’re travelling with very young children, mention it when you enquire so we can prepare accordingly.
Are pets allowed on board?
Pets are considered case by case. Smaller, well-behaved dogs are usually fine on a private charter as long as you’re prepared to look after them on board. Mention any pets when you enquire so we can confirm with the captain and prepare the yacht.
What is the minimum charter duration?
The minimum is 3 hours. That window covers a comfortable coastal route. Half-day, full-day, sunset, and overnight charters are arranged on request and tend to be the more popular formats.
Where do private charters depart from?
Most charters depart from Dubai Harbour or Dubai Marina, depending on the selected yacht. The exact berth and parking pin are confirmed before boarding.
How far in advance should I book a private charter?
For most dates, 7 to 10 days’ notice is comfortable. For weekends, public holidays, and the November to March high season, 2 to 4 weeks ahead is safer. NYE, F1 weekend, and major event dates need to be locked in earlier.
