The Starting Point

Dubai Marina and the adjacent Dubai Harbour are two separate departure areas used for Marinova charters. The selected yacht determines the departure marina, and the written booking confirms the boarding point.

The two marinas run side by side at the western edge of the city, close to JBR and Bluewaters. Most of the yachts our clients rent are berthed in one of them, and your written booking confirms which marina and which boarding point apply to your charter.

Most bookings depart from one of two areas:

Boarding areas around Dubai Marina Mall, Marina West, Marina East, and Dubai Yacht Club — exact point depends on the yacht.

Adjacent to Marina, with its own berths and boarding access.

Other departure points — including Dubai Marasi Marina, Jumeirah, or Port Rashid — are available for some yachts depending on the booking. We confirm your exact boarding point when your charter is set.

What to expect when you arrive at the marina. Small details that make the first 15 minutes of your booking feel easy, and the close of the night feel unhurried.

Parking
Paid parking exists in the Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour areas, but parking and road access can change and current availability is not guaranteed. Check the arrival instructions supplied with your booking and allow additional travel time.
Arrival timing
Plan to reach the pier around 15 minutes before departure. Board early, get settled, and leave right on time. For groups of 15 or more, 20 to 25 minutes is safer so everyone is on board without rushing.
What to bring
Comfortable clothing, sunglasses, and swimwear if your booking includes swim stops. Towels, soft drinks, ice, and the sound system are already on board. If you’re bringing your own catering or vendors, let your manager know ahead of time so the crew can help board them quickly.
Where to meet
The exact pier and arrival instructions are confirmed before your booking. Follow the instructions you are sent, and the crew meets your group at the yacht.
Walking distance
Both marina areas have hotels, restaurants and the JBR boardwalk nearby. Distances vary by boarding point, so check the arrival instructions supplied with your booking.
After the charter
Unhurried disembarkation at the same pier. The crew handles the wind-down, and most groups stay a few minutes on deck before heading off. No end-of-booking rush.
